Description
Sigma Rust-Preventive Primer Sigmaprime 200 including hardener
Sigmaprime 200 is a very high-quality two-component epoxy primer for all types of steel, including galvanized, non-ferrous, galvanized steel, etc. Can also be used as an intermediate primer. Overcoatable after 6 hours.
Application of Sigmaprime 200
Can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray. 1 to 2 coats are sufficient.
Overcoatable with almost all types and kinds of paint, but also with two-component epoxy systems. Has very good rust-preventive properties and a good price/quality ratio.
Mixing ratio of Sigmaprime 200
80 percent base component and 20 percent hardener.
Thinning of Sigmaprime 200
- Use Sigma Thinner 91-92
Hardener
Summer
Application temperature above 0, preferably at 5 degrees or higher. The higher the temperature, the faster it dries.
Application times 8 hours at 15 degrees.
Winter
Application temperature below zero. But it can also be done above zero, then it dries faster.
Application times 8 hours at 10 degrees.

System for underwater
- First 2 coats of sigmaprime 200
- Then 2 coats of Sigmacover 380
Underwater system with antifouling
- First 3 coats of sigmaprime 200
- Then 1 coat of Vinyguard
- Then apply 2 to 3 coats of Antifouling , of which the color Red/Brown is the most effective. This applies to all types of antifouling.
Above-water system
- First 2 coats of sigmaprime 200
- Then 2 coats of Sigmadur 1800

Set (base + hardener) of 4 liters and 20 liters.
Handy extras
What you usually need for 2K paint (mix with hardener).
You will receive a set with two tins: the base (A) and the hardener (B). Mix them just before use in the ratio given in the technical data sheet.
