Trac Barnacle Buster concentrate

Barnacle Buster® is a safe, non-toxic and biodegradable fouling remover. Specially developed as a fast and affordable alternative to the mechanical cleaning of seawater-cooled equipment, such as heat exchangers, coolers and pipes.

When should you use Barnacle Buster?

• Flush the engine as preventive maintenance once a year, especially for engines with a rubber impeller. Fouling is the most common cause of impeller damage.
• Monitor the engine temperature: a permanent increase of 5-10 degrees can indicate fouling in the cooling system.
• If steam or white smoke comes out of the exhaust, the cooling water flow may be reduced due to a clogged heat exchanger or aftercooler. Flushing is then a good first step.

Available as a concentrate in 1 gallon (3.78 liters) and 5 gallon (18.9 liters).
