How to order rope by the metre

  1. Choose the line and the diameter.
  2. Enter the number of metres.
  3. Choose whether you want the ends finished: no finish, an eye with protective sleeve, a stainless steel thimble, or a heavy-duty thimble.
  4. Add the line to your shopping cart, or to your quote list if you need large lengths.

Fair comparison based on price per metre

We sell some lines by the metre and others in 200- or 220-metre reels. That is why we show the price per metre for every line. In the table view, you can see the diameter, breaking strength, and price per metre for each line side by side. This allows you to quickly see which line offers the most strength for your money.

Determining the correct length

Measure the length you need on board and add a little extra for the splices. Unsure about the diameter? Read how to measure your rope correctlyor use the line finder. Lines that we cut to size or splice cannot be returned. So it is better to measure twice.

Which line should you choose?

For everyday mooring in inland waterways, many boaters choose a floating polyolefin line. If the line needs to be light and extremely strong, for example on a winch or for offshore use, then HMPE ropeis the logical choice. You can find all materials under braided ropeand laid rope.

Delivery and collection

Collection in Harlingen is free. We ship parcels up to 23 kg with DPD, and heavier shipments, such as full reels on a pallet. Do you need large lengths or have a regular supply requirement? Request a quote.

Frequently asked questions

Welke lengte vul ik in als ik een splits laat maken?

Vul de lengte in die we van de rol moeten knippen. Bij een oog of kous gaat een deel van de lijn op in de splits. Reken die extra lengte er dus zelf bij. Twijfel je? Vraag het ons voordat je bestelt.

Kan ik ook een hele rol of haspel bestellen?

Ja. Veel lijnen leveren we ook als rol van 200 of 220 meter. Voor grotere haspels maken we graag een offerte.

Kan ik op maat geknipt touw retourneren?

Nee. Touw dat we op lengte knippen of splitsen, maken we speciaal voor jou. Dat kan niet retour.

Hoe meet ik de diameter van mijn touw?

Tape het touw strak af en meet met een touwdiktemeter, niet met een schuifmaat. Of kijk op je vorige factuur.
